Just before I go… Monty the …

Just before I go… Monty the snowman (I just christened him) says ‘Merry Christmas, everyone’. 😀

Oh, and I knocked together a little php function to capture where people come here from. As soon as I have a list of more than one site, and I know it wasn’t just me testing the function, I’ll share them for all to see…

(Here it is)

Right… it’s Tuesday afternoo…

Right… it’s Tuesday afternoon, and I am just about to leave this place and head up to my dad’s for a couple of days.

But before I go… I feel a PC World rant coming on. I want to buy a PowerBook. I, actually, don’t particularly want to buy it at PC World (the amount I moan about them, I don’t really want to throw over a grand at them), but, had I been asked yesterday whilst I was playing with the one they have for nigh on 10 minutes, I probably would have got it there and then. But, where were all the sales people? Rushing in or out of the staff-only bit, hovering around besuited man, or generally walking past me avoiding my gaze. Yes, I was wearing jeans and an Iron Maiden t-shirt. But yes, I do have the money to buy one of these things. You’ve lost a sale, well done.

(PS, they ARE lovely… hmmmm)

And there – finally – goes the…

And there – finally – goes the last concert of the year, and what a one to end on. I am sitting here after the journey home, tea in hand, soothing music ebbing out from iTunes, in something of a reflective mood. Thanks to all my concert buddies of the year. Same time, same place next year? I’ll be there.

Couldn’t be much more from the heart,
Forever trust in who we are,
And nothing else matters.”

Right… Christmas shopping is…

Right… Christmas shopping is…

Right… Christmas shopping is all but done, just a couple of toughies left to get… damn you eclectic people 😀 Canterbury was just fine today… until 11:30am when it turned into a living hell. Note to person in Starbucks… grabbing my chair as soon as I stand up as you are walking through the door is bad form when there are people with hands full of purchased Starbucks goodness looking for somewhere to sit. Plans are forming for next weekend… However, boys, can you play somewhere closer next time? Here would be good 🙂

And so to the end of the week….

And so to the end of the week….

And so to the end of the week… seems to have taken its time getting here this week. Iron Maiden @ Earls Court tonight, which should be fun for all involved – “Scream for me London!” 😀 Games chez Gibson tomorrow – which should be more fun. Oh and I am planning a dawn shopping raid tomorrow too – plan being to get in and out before anyone else is up and clogging up MY carpark. Time is ticking on towards Christmas, and purchases are almost complete. Festivities approach and I am looking forward to seeing people I don’t get to see enough of. You know who you are 🙂

Well, the end of quite a full …

Well, the end of quite a full …

Well, the end of quite a full weekend… and maybe, just maybe everything will go swimmingly tomorrow. Hmm, will it ‘eck as like… A trip to another seaside on Saturday – and I think everyone had a fine time – I know I did. I’m a sucker for coffee, burgers, and superb company 😀 And then Christmas shopping today – fun fun fun. People seem to be able to ‘shop’ or ‘navigate’, not both at once. However I am about 90% done now – just 2 or 3 more things to get. And then I may just treat myself… hmmmmm 😉

Oh dear me, one of those days….

Oh dear me, one of those days….

Oh dear me, one of those days…

But made up for by a stonking performance by MUSE, which in turn was made even better by a special guest appearance… 🙂 Just one question…. when did balloons full of confetti become ‘rock’n’roll’?
